  5. If the details are correct, enter your MTN number and press “Send”.
  6. MTN will send you a message confirming that your NIN has been successfully linked to your MTN line.

It’s important to note that you can also link your NIN with your MTN line by visiting any MTN service centre or agent with your NIN and a valid means of identification such as a driver’s license, passport, or voter’s card.

The Nigerian government has mandated all telecom operators in the country to ensure that their subscribers link their NIN with their SIM cards, so it’s important to link your NIN with your MTN line to avoid disconnection of your line.

It’s important to note that you can only share data from an active data bundle on your MTN line. There may also be a limit to the number of times you can share data per day or per month.

How To Check BVN With MTN Line

MTN does not provide a service to check BVN (Bank Verification Number) directly. However, you can check your BVN by using any of the following methods:

  1. Check your BVN on your bank statement: Your BVN is usually printed on your bank statement. This means that you can check your most recent bank statement to find your BVN.
  2. Check your BVN using your bank’s USSD code: Many banks in Nigeria allow their customers to check their BVN by dialling a USSD code. You can check with your bank to see if they offer this service and what the code is.
  3. The NIBSS “check your BVN” dial allows Nigerians to check their BVN with the shortcode (*565*0#). It is, however, worth noting that this code only works with the phone number registered for his/her BVN.
  4. Visit a bank branch: You can also visit any branch of the bank where you registered for your BVN and request to check your BVN.

It’s important to keep your BVN secure and not share it with anyone who is not authorized to access it.
