Zainab Balogun is a Nigerian actress, television personality and model. She spent most of her life in the United Kingdom before returning home to advance in her career as an actress and a talk show host. After the final season of her talk show ‘The Spot” she has since moved on to the big screen with several leading roles and outstanding performances in movies like God Calling, Royal Purple Hibiscus, and, Wedding party.

Zainab hosted a talk show alongside Ebuka and Lamide Akintobi. 

Zainab Balogun moved back to Nigeria to continue her career as a model and television personality. She began her career in Nigerian with EbonyLive Tv talk show, The Spot, which she hosted alongside Ebuka-Obi Uchendu and Lamide Akintobi, 

Zainab Balogun and her co-hosts hosted ‘the spot’ on EbonylifeTV for three years. The Spot was a casual television show that featured insightful conversations, fun games and entertainment. The trio also entertained and had meaningful discussions with personalities in music, movies and other industries.

 Mrs Nwachukwu is a fashionista although, she was often barefoot during her time in ‘The Spot’.

In an interview, Zainab Balogun said: “I love shoes and can’t stop buying them”. Although, during her time at Ebony Life, she preferred to go barefoot. Over the years, Zainab Balogun has been one celebrity to look out for on the red carpets and other VIP events. Her style can easily transition from casual, which we saw the whole time she hosted Ebony life’s The Spot, to the edgier and detailed Zainab seen in red carpets and events.
